Level 2 Student Team Building 2025

This summer, our Level 2 students stepped out of the classroom and into two empowering experiences designed to build trust, confidence, and leadership skills.

With the incredible team at Challenge Discovery, students stepped into a mix of ground-based challenges and high-ropes adventures at the University of Richmond. Through their Team Odyssey and Common Ground programs, students were challenged to communicate better, trust one another, and step outside their comfort zones all while building confidence and practicing problem-solving in real time.

Next, students traded helmets for golf clubs during a team-building day with First Tee – Greater Richmond. More than just golf, First Tee helps students build character, set goals, and learn the value of patience and persistence. With expert coaches guiding them every step of the way, it was a day full of learning and a lot of laughs.

College Decision Day 2025

College Decision Day is one of PFF’s most anticipated traditions. Each year, students announce their college selections, receive special cords symbolizing their commitment to the program, and are recognized for their achievements alongside their families and dedicated G.U.I.D.E.S. Mentors (Gearing Up Individuals to Drive Educational Success).

Reaching for the Stars Ceremony 2024

At the Reaching for the Stars Ceremony, we recognize our graduates’ academic accomplishments and scholarship awards. This event is the culmination of their Partnership for the Future High School program experience and we invite “their village” to come celebrate their hard work and resilience over the last four years.

30th Anniversary Breakfast

Over the past 30 years Partnership for the Future has supported over 1,000 students on their higher education journey. This event highlighted a milestone anniversary of 30 years helping low to moderate-income and first-generation college students in the Richmond area achieve their dream of a college education.

Dining Etiquette Luncheon

During our dining etiquette luncheon, our students learn the proper etiquette for a formal dining event. This event is also a networking opportunity for our students, allowing them to meet and interact with PFF staff, board members, volunteers, and mentors in a formal setting.
