Host an Intern

Join a network of forward-thinking companies committed to shaping tomorrow’s leaders. Partnership for the Future (PFF) connects high-achieving, college-bound high school students with meaningful, paid internship opportunities through our dynamic seven-week summer program.

Interns work Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, gaining hands-on experience that aligns with your organization’s needs. On Fridays, students engage in enrichment programming focused on college readiness, financial literacy, and personal and professional development.

Our interns remain with the same company for up to three consecutive summers, receive year-round training on hard and soft skills, and have the dedicated support of one of our coaches to ensure their success. By hosting a PFF intern, you are not just offering a summer job; you’re making a long-term investment in your workforce, your community, and the future.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How can the business community support PFF?
We invite business leaders to play a direct role in shaping the future workforce by hosting one of our exceptional student interns. Your support helps bridge the gap between academic potential and professional opportunity, equipping students with the skills and experiences they need to thrive.

What level of commitment is expected of business sponsors?
We ask business sponsors to hire a student intern for two to three consecutive summers, offering a meaningful, growth-oriented internship experience. This long-term commitment allows students to take on progressively challenging responsibilities and build strong relationships within your organization.

Is there a financial commitment for business sponsors?
Yes, Sponsors are expected to pay students at least minimum wage and contribute a sponsorship fee which helps cover: ongoing professional development workshops, student transportation to and from the internship, and our scholarship match program which awards students up to $2,000 upon graduation from high school in a 529 college savings account.

Is transportation provided?
Yes. PFF ensures that transportation is never a barrier—we coordinate reliable transportation to and from internship sites for all students.

Are there other opportunities for me to contribute to the mission if I am unable to hire a student?
Absolutely. If your business is unable to host a student due to the nature of your work, you can still make a meaningful impact by sponsoring a student’s summer internship experience. Your sponsorship helps provide valuable real-world opportunities to a deserving student—ensuring their summer is filled with purpose, learning, and growth.
